Beginning with Draco's unexpected arrival at the Dursleys, Harry's summer after sixth year becomes filled with activity and many secrets. As his summer progresses, Harry generates several unexpected allies as he finds himself actively becoming the leader of the Light side.
It's an older story set post HBP. I've reread it a few days before and decided to rec it. This story is really long (over sixty chapters) but everything happens within a few weeks.
Well, why do I like it. It has a very different Harry, a Harry who works with Malfoys, Slytherins and Snape. I really love the Harry/Snape interaction...I think I like it more than the Harry/Draco interaction. They work so well together ;)

This is a tribute to
calanthe_fanfic's Mudhoney Trilogy. It isn't necessary to read it before reading Danse but I would highly recommend it. It is a fantastic story and you will understand the way Harry and Draco act better.
I've never read a story like this before. Harry and Draco were so different than any other Harry or Draco I have read before. Especially Harry was so great, I really loved his characterization. He was not hero Harry from the books or Mister Nice-guy. I also loved the way Hermione was portrayed, it was so accurate, fantastic! The whole story if full of raw emotion and the characters, the whole storyline. It was an amazing journey. This is for me one of the top fics in the fandom and I'm so glad I found it. There are about thousand things I could say about this story but I'm not going to say anymore. If you are a Harry/Draco fan go read it and if not go read it anyway. It is really a fantastic story.
The Apple Tree by Philo (NC-17, Harry/Snape)
Harry returns for his seventh year determined to change the status quo.
This is an Harry in Hogwarts story which I haven't really read in a long time (since DH came out but that was over an half a year ago!). I really like it. It has so many different things like: different types of magic, the military and a really fantastic characters. I really like the relationships issues between Harry and Severus and the interaction between Snape and Neville or better said the interaction Snape has with every character. There are soo many other great things. It is really worth reading!

Oct. 3rd, 2007 08:35 pmI´m still alive!
I have not posted something in a long time. Well, the summer is clearly over. I started my new job nearly three weeks ago and I like it. My new colleagues are very nice and we have a lot of fun. The hotel I work in is in Vienna and I am from Vienna but nearly all my other colleagues are foreigners, most of them are from Germany, but we also have somebody who is from Poland.
The hotel is new and just opened three weeks ago and next week we have this big opening ceremony where we all have to work.
Another thing is, university started this week and I nearly have all the books I need, there are only a few left to buy. I think the books are really expensive, especially because sometimes you only need them for two months and thats it!
I´m also going to a language course to learn Spanish. I had Spanish in school for a year three years ago. I´m curious to see if I remember anything at all.
Also, I´m going to move out this month. Nearly everything is finished. I only need to pack my things and take them to my new flat. I also need a TV and a comfortable armchair and a bookshelf because i have to many books. There are also a few small things that need to be done but I´m so excited! I can´t wait to move out!!
This was probably not very interesting but I wanted to write something!
